a hand-sized leaf in thin copper - a tiny replica of a huge cloud
forest leaf eaten into by insects. Edition of 40 for ROOM, Bristol

ghosts 2000 fruits were encased in a filigree of wire
when fresh, allowed to dry out to dust leaving their ghost
cherry

ripe cherries were laced with fine silver
wire forming a necklace; by 2000 the fruit had
become dust the silver lacing
remaining
the necklace is presented in an
acrylic box
a
cucumber in a tailored silk jacket
the silk jacket was tailored exactly to fit a ripe
cucumber - tailoring procedures of measurements, making a toile
etc. were used -
as time went on the cucumber shrunk : like an elderly person
wearing clothes of yesteryear
the jacket hung on the now shrivelled fruit.
